What Is a Mandala Stack?

A quick introduction to the idea of mapping any domain into nested circles of purpose, pattern, and practice.

A mandala stack is a way of expressing a field of knowledge as nested circles instead of a flat list. At the center is intent or purpose — the ‘why’ that gives everything else meaning. Around it are rings for patterns, practices, and outcomes.

Working this way has two big benefits. First, it mirrors how humans often experience mastery: we orbit the same core insights again and again, at increasing depth. Second, it gives us a reusable template we can apply to many domains without reinventing the wheel each time.

MandalaStacks explores concrete stacks such as the Sanskrit Mandala Model, the Universal Knowledge Mandala, the Comedy Mandala, and more. Each one is an experiment in making complex domains more teachable, memorable, and humane.
